Remote unlocking is a lot cheaper then buying the professional hardware tools to unlock your phone (remote unlocking +/- 15 euros <=> Hardware needed to unlock +/- 300 euros) and a lot safer then all the free unlock software on the internet. The free software often kills your phone and making it hard (and expensive) to repair your phone.
